Dunblane Cathedral

Welcome to Chimes House, bed and breakfast guest house accommodation, Dunblane, Perthshire, Scotland...

Overlooking the magnificent 12th century cathedral in the centre of Scotland's smallest city of Dunblane (pop.7200), Chimes House is a light, spacious Victorian town house retaining many original features combined with modern comforts, where guests will enjoy traditional Scottish hospitality and excellent home cooking.

Enjoy a relaxing stroll along the banks of the Allan Water, visit the Cathedral with its stained glass and superb wood carvings in Scottish Oak, or just browse through the Cathedral Museum and Scotland's oldest private lending library which was opened in 1684.

Dunblane is ideally situated for visiting all of Central Scotland with Perth, Edinburgh (direct train connection to Festival) and Glasgow less than an hour away by train and by car, yet the panorama of lochs and mountains of the Trossachs, and National Park  are on the doorstep. 5 miles away in Stirling visit Stirling Castle, the site of the Battle of Bannockburn, and the Wallace Monument - the very heart of 'Braveheart' country.
